RECREATIONAL PROGRAM

Stickney Soccer Association Recreational soccer programs focus on fun, learning, and development without the pressure of intense competition or travel. We emphasize active participation, positive coaching, and building a love for the game. These programs are designed to be accessible to all players, regardless of skill level, and is open to boys and girls. Key features of our recreational programs:

Focus on Fun: The primary goal is for players to enjoy the game and the experience. 

Emphasis on Learning and Development: Players learn basic skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. 

Positive and Supportive Environment:  Coaches and parents are encouraged to be positive role models and create a low-pressure atmosphere. 

Equal Playing Time: Players receives ample opportunity to participate and contribute to the team. 

Open to All: Our programs are open to any child who wants to participate, regardless of skill level or prior experience. 

Small-Sided Games: Smaller teams allow for more participation and encourage active engagement.
